Coats become tea cups..

I am cleaning up from sewing and find these small pieces of wool. They are so small; surely I must discard these little bits of fabric.

They were once part of wool coats, purchased from thrift stores and used for other projects.

In my mind I see the red mug appliques I made with this wool. Next thing I am doing is flipping through my cup dies–the Die-Namics set “Tea Party” is perfect!

A scrap of polka dot fabric, still on the cutting table, can be a tablecloth.

Poppystamps “Little Luxe Hello” in fabric was too fragile, so a scrap of yellow paper from the colored scrap files was selected.

A little polka-dot embossing adds punch to the background.

I thiiiiink this might be my last card for the Simin Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, but we are allowed 5 entries so you never know!
